Continuing with the secondary transportation network (Feeder) of the high-speed rail project Phase 2, Korat-Nong Khai, which has been planned and designed to support the connection.
Thank you for the pictures and details from the Department of Rail Transport, Ministry of Transport.
This line will connect to two major cities in the Northeast: Khon Kaen and Udon Thani. The stations are in the same location, which already have good connections to travel within the city.
In addition, there are connections to two more regional railway lines:
1. Bua Yai Station, connecting to the Kaeng Khoi-Bua Yai railway line
2. Ban Phai Station, connecting to the Ban Phai-Mukdahan-Nakhon Phanom railway line
Which will be a good feeder point to the high-speed rail in the future, but it requires a suitable train schedule and a transfer time of no less than 20 minutes so that passengers can travel and change systems appropriately.
I hope that the high-speed rail project, Isan Phase 2, will enter the bidding process and be constructed soon.
