ป้ายโครงการ ก่อสร้าง ย่านสินค้า ที่ท่านาแล้ง โครงการที่ ๒ จาก ๒๓ กันยายน ๒๕๕๖ สิ้นสุด ๒๓ มีนาคม ๒๕๕๘
ดูแล้วมีความคืบหน้าไปมาก น่าจะเสร็จได้ตามกำหนด ก็รอดูต่อไปว่า หลังจากโครงการนี้แล้วเสรฺ็จ ท่านาแล้ง จะไม่แล้งอีกต่อไป
ที่นี่จะคักคักกว่าที่เป็นอยู่ทุกวันนี้ซึ่งมีรถวิ่งเข้า-ออก ไป-กลับ แค่ ๒ ขบวน ก็รอดูกันต่อไป ครับ

ตะวันจะตกดินแล้วดูท่าทางไกด์นำเที่ยวอ่อนล้าเต็มทีแล้ว ได้เวลา ต้องเดินทางกลับที่พักแล้ว ครับ

ส่วนรายเอียด เบื้องหลัง การเดินทาง ครั้งนี้ ติดตามได้ ที่นี่ ครับ แต่งเติมสีสันให้สนุกสนานโดย พี่กร srinopkun ครับ

เห็นป้ายโครงการระยะที่ II แล้ว ระบุว่าผู้ว่าจ้างคือ Railway Department, Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) ก็เลยเดาว่า หมอนคอนกรีต ตัวย่อ RWD อาจจะหมายถึง Railway Department (กรมรถไฟ) ก็ได้ครับ แต่บริษัทผู้ผลิตหมอนไม่มีข้อมูล ไม่แน่ใจว่าเป็นเสริมสงวนก่อสร้างหรือเปล่านะครับ Rolling Eyes

โครงการระยะที่ II ย่านสินค้า คืบหน้าไปมาก แต่โครงการทางรถไฟท่านาแล้ง-เวียงจันทน์ คงอีกนานนะครับ ยังไม่เห็นความเคลื่อนไหวเลย

หมอน NEC ผมก็เพิ่งเคยเห็นครับ เข้าใจว่าเป็นของ NEC Concrete ที่ชลบุรีครับ

Consultant employed for Savan-Laobao rail project

A consultant has been employed for the development of the US$5 billion Savannakhet-Laobao rail project that will link the central part of Laos to neighbouring Vietnam.

Malaysia-based Giant Rail Company Limited, the main concessionaire and developer for the project has appointed Digimap Sdn. Bhd, a Malaysia-based company, as the total project management company to undertake a detailed consultancy design for the project.

A memorandum of understanding on the appointment was signed on Friday in Vientiane between the Malaysian developer and the consultant company.

Lao Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Sports Dr Phankham Viphavanh and his Malaysian counterpart Mr Tan Sri Dato Muhyiddin Mohd Yassin witnessed the signing ceremony.

The signing took place on the sidelines of the 8th Asean Education Ministers Meeting held in Vientiane which the two deputy prime ministers were attending.

The developer signed a master agreement with the Lao government to develop the 220km rail track in November 2012 on the sidelines of the 9th Asia-Europe Summit, which was witnessed by Lao Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong and Malaysian Prime Minister Dato Sri Mohd Najib Bin Tun Abdul Razak.

Construction of the 50-year concession project is expected to begin in December this year and take four years to complete. The four years consist of two years of construction and another two years of testing and commissioning.

The project will develop an electrified double track standard gauge railway to link Savannakhet province to Laobao on the Vietnam border.

It will contribute to the Lao government's efforts in transforming Laos from a landlocked into a land-linked nation, by having access to the deepwater seaport of Muy Tuy, north of Danang in Vietnam, according to a press release from the Malaysian Embassy.

“This will certainly contribute towards the realisation of the Asean Connectivity Master Plan with the view of linking up the North-South Trans-Asia Railway Project that would ultimately link Asia with Europe by a global rail network,” the embassy said in the press release.

The Malaysian developer said previously that funding for the implementation of the project was already in place.

Having at the moment only 3.5 km of rail track linking the Lao capital of Vientiane to Thailand's Nong Khai province, the Lao government has been working with China in an attempt to develop the US$ 7 billion rail track to link Vientiane with the Chinese border over a distance of 421 km.

The planned Boten-Vientiane railway will form part of the regional rail network known as the Kunming-Singapore rail line covering a distance of 3,000km. The high-speed Kunming-Singapore rail project will link China's Kunming all the way down to Singapore, passing through Laos, Thailand and Malaysia.
