เปิดการเดินรถไฟฟ้ามหานครสายปูตราจายา ช่วงแรกจาก Kwasa Damansara ไป Kampung Batu ตอน 15:00 น. วันที่ 16 มิถุนายน 2022 โดยจะเปิดสถานี 9 สถานีอันได้แก่ Damansara Damai, Sri Damansara Barat, Sri Damanshara Sentral, Sri Damansar Timur, Metro Prima, Kepong Baru, Jinjang, Sri Delima และ Kampung Batu ส่วนอีกสามสถานี นั้น ใช้ทางรถไฟฟ้า ร่วมกับ รถไฟฟ้าสาย Kajang อันได้แก่ Kwasa Damansara, Kampung Selamat และ Sungai Buloh.

รถไฟสาย LRT Shah Alam หรือ LRT 3 ซึ่งเดิมเรียกว่าสาย LRT Bandar UtamaKlang, LRT Bandar Utama-Johan Setia Line หรือเรียกสั้นๆ ว่า LRT Johan Setia Line เป็นสายการขนส่งสาธารณะขนาดเบาความจุปานกลาง (LRT) ซึ่งจะให้บริการ ภูมิภาคชาห์อาลัมและกลางทางฝั่งตะวันตกของ Klang Valley ประเทศมาเลเซีย มันจะเป็นสาย LRT สายที่สาม และระบบรางอัตโนมัติเต็มรูปแบบที่สี่และไร้คนขับในภูมิภาค Klang Valley สายดังกล่าวจะดำเนินการเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของระบบ RapidKL โดย Rapid Rail ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทในเครือของ Prasarana Malaysia ประกาศโดย Prasarana Malaysia เมื่อวันที่ 24 เมษายน 2556
เมื่อเสร็จสิ้นแล้ว เส้นทางจะเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของระบบขนส่งมวลชน Klang Valley มีหมายเลข 11 และสีฟ้าบนแผนที่การขนส่งสาธารณะอย่างเป็นทางการ
เป็นสายหนึ่งในสี่สายใน Klang Valley ที่ไม่ได้เข้าสู่ KL Sentral อีก 3 สายคือ สายอัมปัง สายศรีเปตาลิง และสายปุตราจายา รวมทั้งนับเป็นสายแรกใน Klang Valley ที่ อยู่นอกเขตดินแดนสหพันธ์กัวลาลัมเปอร์ทั้งหมด
การจัดแนวดังกล่าวจะมีความยาว 56.2 กม. ประกอบด้วยทางยกระดับ 42.7 กม. และอุโมงค์ใต้ดิน 13.5 กม. โดยจะมีสถานีปฏิบัติการ 36 แห่ง โดยเป็นสถานียกระดับ 27 แห่ง และใต้ดิน 9 แห่ง มีการสร้างสถานีชั่วคราวอีก 5 แห่งตามการจัดตำแหน่งสำหรับการใช้งานในอนาคต (Rubber Research Institute (RRI), Bandar Malaysia Utara, Bandar Malaysia Selatan, Taman Teknologi และ Taman Universiti)
พิธีวางศิลาฤกษ์ซึ่งนายกรัฐมนตรี Dato 'Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak เป็นประธานในพิธี ได้จัดขึ้นที่สถานที่ของสถานี Putrajaya Sentral ในอนาคตเมื่อวันที่ 15 กันยายน 2016 ซึ่งเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของการก่อสร้างเส้นทางสายปุตราจายา
The LRT Shah Alam Line or LRT 3, previously known as the LRT Bandar UtamaKlang Line, LRT Bandar Utama-Johan Setia Line or simply LRT Johan Setia Line, is a medium-capacity light rapid transit (LRT) line which will be serving the Shah Alam and Klang regions on the western side of the Klang Valley, Malaysia. It will be the third LRT line, and the fourth fully automated and driverless rail system in the Klang Valley region. The line will be operated as part of the RapidKL system by Rapid Rail, a subsidiary of Prasarana Malaysia. It was announced by Prasarana Malaysia on 24 April 2013.
Once completed, the line will form part of the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System. It is numbered 11 and coloured sky blue on official transit maps.
The line is one out of four rapid transit lines in the Klang Valley that does not serve KL Sentral, the other three being the Ampang Line, Sri Petaling Line and the Putrajaya Line, as well as the first rapid transit line in the Klang Valley that is entirely outside the borders of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur.
