มองโกเลียได้รถจักรใหม่ 5 คันและรถสินค้าใหม่ 245 ตู้

เมื่อวันที่ 9 เม.ย. 55 การรถไฟมองโกเลียรับมอบรถจักรใหม่ 5 คันจาก CNR ของจีน รวมทั้งรถจักรสำรอง 1 คัน รถสินค้า 245 ตู้ และ อุปกรณ์โหลดสินค้าลงตู้ 2 ชุด

การรถไฟมองโกเลียได้ตกแต่งรถจักรด้วยลวดลายท้องถิ่น สะท้อนเอกลักษณ์ของประเทศ

Mongolian Railway has received 5 new locomotives and 245 freight wagons

On April 09, Mongolian Railway state owned stock company has received 5 brand new locomotives from the China CNR Corporation Limited company in frames of the "Improvisation of the fleet of rolling stock" project which is being implemented with the soft loan with export incentives from the People's Republic of China.

Thus, CNR has supplied 5 locomotives, 1 spare locomotive, 245 freight wagons and 2 wagon loaders on soft loans to Mongolia. The arrival of the new rolling stock will play an important role in increasing the freight and passenger shipment capacity of the Mongolia Railway.

“Mongolian Railway” has decorated the new locomotives with traditional style patterns dedicating to the 2220th anniversary of Khunnu Empire, 805th year anniversary of Great Mongol Empire, 100th year anniversary of Mongolian Independence, and 90th year anniversary of People’s Revolution which fell last year. Our ancestors the Khunnu people who have formed the first state of Mongolia used to worship sun in the morning and moon in the evening therefore orange was chosen to color the locomotive symbolizing the golden gobi, sun and fire flame and black color was used symbolizing the coal which is an integral part of the railway. The patterns on the locomotive depict ancient deer stone monuments and symbolize fire and gobi wind.

ไม่ต้องขอวีซ่าด้วย แต่ไม่มีเที่ยวบินตรง ต้องไปต่อที่จีน
อาจจะต้องขอวีซ่าจีนก่อน
ยังไม่เคยนั่งรถไฟ Russian Gauge ราง 1.520 เมตรเลยครับ

ผมได้ยินว่ามีขบวนรถไฟระหว่างประเทศ ปักกิ่ง - อูลาน บาตอร์ วิ่งบริการด้วยครับ

ถ้ามีโอกาส อ.หม่อง ลองไปชมบรรยากาศใจกลางแผ่นดินใหญ่เอเซียดูสักหน่อย น่าจะดีนะครับ

จากปักกิ่งไปอูลานบาตอร์ มีอาทิตย์ละเที่ยว (K23) - ออกทุกวันองคาร (จนถึงมิถุนายน ปี 2555) ซึ่งจะเปลี่ยนเป็นวัน เสาร์ ในปีหน้า ที่ จะแย่หน่อยที่ เขาเลิกการให้บริการ Soft Sleeper - มีแต่ Hard Sleeper หรือไม่ก็ Deluxe Sleeper

เอ... รางในจีนกับมองโกเลีย คนละขนาด ไม่ทราบผ่านเข้าไปอย่างไรครับ หรือว่า Dual gauge

เล่นไม่ยาก - เปลี่ยนแคร่ล้อที่สถานีชายแดน/ฝี่งจีนแดง (Erenhot) ก็ได้แล้ว แต่ก็ต้องออกไปยืดเส้นยืดสาย กันเป็นชั่วโมง

ผู้โดยสารก็เข้าคิวผ่าน ตม. ไป รถไฟก็เปลี่ยนแคร่ไป น่าสนุกนะครับ
นึกถึงด่านปาดังเบซาร์ ขนาดไม่ต้องเปลี่ยนแคร่ บางทีรถไฟก็จอดตั้ง 2 ชั่วโมง

การเปลี่ยนแคร่โบกี้ ทีละแคร่ๆ ทั้งขบวนแบบนี้ค่อนข้างจะเป็นปัญหาหนักเอาการนะครับ แถมยังใช้เวลานานอีกด้วย

ผมนึกถึงการเปลี่ยนขนาดความกว้างล้อของขบวนรถไฟที่วิ่งผ่านแดนระหว่างฝรั่งเศส - สเปน ซึ่งเพลาล้อมิได้ตายตัว ดูจะง่ายกว่าเป็นไหนๆ
