I understand that a coach is attached/detached from trains 51/52 at Lampang on some days of the week.
Can anyway tell me which days this happens.
I would like to photograph the locomotive that does this when I am there in a few weeks time.
Many thanks for any help. |

Most likely, it depends on the demands and the current available and serviceable locomotives at Lampang Locomotive depot though |

I understood that locomotive 540 almost always has this duty. I believe a coach was attached on Wednesday last week but not on Sunday which is I wondered whether there regular days for the attach/detaching.
Many thanks |

I am now able to answer my own question.
The last coach, number 10, on train 109 to Chiang Mai is detached at Lampang.
It then returns to Bangkok having been attached by 540 to train 52. |
