I see from pictures and videos that 3118 has been refurbished and was returned to traffic late last year.

On the SRT website it is last shown as having worked train 255 on 18th December 2018.

Does anyone know where it is now and which trains it usually works please?

Thank you.

3118 was last shown on the SRT Mechanical Engineering website as having worked train 255 on 18th December 2018?

Has anyone seen it working since then?

Thats interesting. When I saw 3121 in July of this year, part of the upper bodywork had been removed. Any further update on the matter would be most interesting.

Is 3113 now back at Hat Yai?

The option of sealing the electrics of the GE's is risky, with the potential consequences disastrous should the sealing fail to hold. It must remain 100% watertight, nothing less. Water and electricity do not mix, and that is why some people were electrocuted in the recent floods.

the Great Flood of 2011 has been proven that GEK with sealed electronic circuits still working without perils of electrocute or short circuit accidents that caused a locomotive to cremate itself.

From what I have just seen on a Youtube posting dated 01 April 2019, 3118 is parked up and out of traffic. The clip doesn't state where, but comments mention it has had power/engine problems.
