* Another option is train number 251 which departs Thonburi at 1:10 pm and arrives in Prachuap Khiri Khan at 7:10 pm. This train also travels for 6 hours and costs 56 baht.
* For a faster option, consider the express train number 43 departing from Bangkok Aphivat at 7:30 am and arriving at 11:40 am. This train travels for only 4 hours but costs 373 baht.
* When choosing a seat, consider sitting on the left side of the train facing the direction of travel in the morning to enjoy the sunrise and scenery.

Prang also documented her journey to her hotel which was 180 meters from the train station. She stayed at the Yuttichai Hotel for 2 nights which cost between 200-600 baht per night. The room did not include a refrigerator but did come with free coffee, snacks, and 2 bottles of water.

From Rama II Road, heading out of the city, pass through the Maha Chai New City Market and turn left onto Ekachai Road. Pass Ekachai Hospital, and at the traffic light intersection, turn left onto Samut Sakhon-Khok Kham Road. Cross the railway and the bridge over Maha Chai Canal. After descending the bridge, turn right onto Jesada Witee Road. Continue past Wat Tuek Maha Chai Yaram, and shortly after, you will arrive at Wat Krok Krak.
Hey everyone! So, a ton of you guys have been bugging me to check out Laos in my travel vids. Well, I finally caved and here we are - a totally unplanned trip to Laos! Let me tell ya, this journey was loooong. It was my first time taking an overnight train with my mom too. Talk about excitement!
We had to switch rides a bunch of times before finally making it to Vientiane. That's where the whole "backpacking" vibe of this trip came from. But to make things interesting, we set ourselves a little challenge - find the famous Patuxai arch and some local booze with snacks at the Vientiane night market, all on a 200 baht budget.
