Hello everyone! In this video, I will review the new train route that the State Railway of Thailand has just launched, from Bangkok to Vientiane.
The service started on July 19, 2024. This train runs to Vientiane Station, but before reaching Vientiane, we need to stop at Nong Khai Station first to get our passports stamped and checked before crossing the border into Laos.
In this video, I will review the details of taking the train, the steps involved, how to buy and book tickets, a review of Krung Thep Aphiwat Station all the way to Vientiane city, including where to eat, visit, and party. Everything is covered in this one video!
View from the Train Window from Nong Khai to Vientiane (Thanonsavanh) with Train No. 133, Maiden Voyage on July 20, 2567
This clip will show the view from the window of the express train No. 133, which is on its maiden voyage. The journey starts from Nong Khai Station, crosses the First Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge, and ends at Vientiane (Thanonsavanh) Station. The total distance is approximately 12 kilometers, taking about 30 minutes in total.
