29 ต.ค. 67.- นพ. เปรมศักดิ์ เพียยุระ สมาชิกวุฒิสภา หารือประเด็นความคืบหน้าการก่อสร้างทางรถไฟทางคู่ “บ้านไผ่ - มหาสารคาม - ร้อยเอ็ด - มุกดาหาร - นครพนม” เนื่องจากขณะนี้มีความล่าช้าในการก่อสร้าง และประชาชนมีความกังวลว่าจะแล้วเสร็จตามกำหนดหรือไม่ เพราะโครงการนี้จะสิ้นสุดสัญญาในปี 2570

October 29, 2024 - Dr. Permsak Pia-yura, a member of the Senate, raised concerns about the progress of the "Ban Phai - Mahasarakham - Roi Et - Mukdahan - Nakhon Phanom" double-track railway construction. He highlighted delays in construction and expressed public anxiety over whether the project will be completed on schedule, as the contract is set to end in 2027.

Chiang Khwan Station, Roi Et Province, is a small-sized railway station. It is part of Contract 1, Ban Phai - Nong Phok section, of the Ban Phai - Mukdahan - Nakhon Phanom double-track railway project. This 180-kilometer section has a budget of 27,095 million baht and is being constructed by the AS-Cho Thavee & Associates joint venture.
