100 Billion Baht Projects Await Cabinet Green Light by Year-End
The Ministry of Transport is anticipating the Cabinet's approval for four projects worth 109 billion baht by the end of December 2024. First Mobile Cabinet Meeting to Approve 10,000 Baht Handout Phase 2

2. electrical and mechanical systems costs of 3,955.03 million baht,
3. consulting fees for bidding of 14.78 million baht,
4.construction supervision consultant fees (CSC) of 392.13 million baht, and
5. independent engineering consultant fees (ICE) of 39.55 million baht.
Initially, if the Cabinet approves, SRT is ready to enter the bidding process immediately. It is expected that the winner of the bid will be announced by the end of 2025, construction will start in early 2026, and construction will take 36 months or approximately 3 years. The service will open in early 2029.
All land belonging to SRT will be used for construction, with no land expropriation. It is estimated that the number of passengers per day will be 36,050 passengers a day in the first year of service. In the 30th year of service, There will be 67,340 passengers per day.
