Severe flooding has damaged the railway line at Ban Lueam, Nakhon Ratchasima. The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has ordered adjustments to the operating plans for 6 train services. An estimated time for reopening the line cannot yet be provided, as floodwaters remain high with no signs of receding.
On September 27, the Public Relations Department of the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) announced that due to severe flooding that has cut the railway line in Ban Lueam, Nakhon Ratchasima province, it is taking action to manage the situation and has adjusted train schedules for passenger safety as follows:
These services will be rerouted to run on the Kaeng Khoi Junction - Nakhon Ratchasima - Bua Yai Junction - Nong Khai line.
4. **Local Train No. 439** (Kaeng Khoi Junction - Bua Yai Junction) will terminate at Ban Lueam station.
5. **Local Train No. 434** (Bua Yai Junction - Kaeng Khoi Junction) will wait at Bua Yai Junction station pending the flood situation.
According to a preliminary assessment, an estimated time for reopening the line cannot be determined because water levels are still high and show no signs of decreasing. The SRT will monitor the situation closely and will provide further details on the reopening of the route as progress is made. We apologize for this inconvenience.
