Our recent trip from Mandalay to Yangon wasn't a direct shot; it was a unique, two-part rail adventure utilizing both the RBE and modern DEMU trains, with a stop in the capital, Naypyidaw. We departed Mandalay at 6:00 am, arrived in Naypyidaw by 11:30 am, and after a brief layover, caught the noon train to arrive in Yangon at 5:30 pm.
