EP12 After the train departs from Tbilisi, Georgia, crossing the Georgia-Armenia border, it arrives at Ayrum station on the Armenian side. I had to get off the train to obtain a Visa on Arrival inside the station, then return to the train for Armenian immigration to stamp my passport again.
Since the train travels at night, I missed the chance to see the beautiful views from the window. Trains between countries often run at night, reaching their destinations in the early morning.
Upon arriving at Yerevan's train station, it was time to start exploring this country. I spent only three days in Armenia, which was far too short because there are many beautiful places I didn't get to visit. I plan to return if I get the chance.
Speaking of Armenia, I used to wonder where this country was located. I had heard its name from streets and churches in Malaysia and Singapore, which piqued my curiosity. I never thought I would have the chance to visit this country, but since it borders Georgia and has a daily train service, it was easy to travel here. I'm glad I included Armenia in my travel list. It's a small, mysterious, and incredibly beautiful country with friendly people and an unbelievably low cost of living.
"I promised myself that I will definitely come back again."
Train Journey from Asia to Europe: 58 Days | EP13 Azerbaijan, the Last Country Before Returning Home

In EP13, after taking the train from Tbilisi last night, I arrived in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, on the morning of day 54. Azerbaijan is a country located by the Caspian Sea, bordering Iran. It features a blend of European and Middle Eastern influences. The majority of the population practices Islam. Azerbaijan is the last country on this trip before I return to Thailand, with a one-night stopover in Siberia.
Baku boasts many interesting places to visit, such as the Old City, the Caspian Sea waterfront park, and European-style buildings scattered throughout the city. Additionally, there are many unique and modern structures to explore.
