Video clip showing the moment that Special No. 983 train hit a rail inspection vehicle on the Suphanburi Line at 8:35am this morning. Luckily the three railmen jumped clear just in time sustaining only slight injuries.
No. 983 is a chartered train heading to Suphanburi Station. Theres only one passenger train that does a return trip once a week on this line and so the train was being cautious. Locals would not know the train was coming but railmen should be fully aware. They said they heard the whistle but thought it was a train on the main line.
