The railway industry will add more carriages to passenger trains to add nearly 2,000 seats during the peak days of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin, serving the travel needs of people.
On January 29, Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that up to now, it has sold about 265,000 tickets during the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin.
Assessing the increased demand of people returning home to celebrate Tet, the railway industry will organize additional cars to be added to passenger trains for the 4th time with nearly 2,000 seats during the peak days of Giap Thin Tet from September 1. February 5-19 (December 26 to January 10).
The company also informed that there are currently tickets remaining before Tet on all days, including: Before February 1 and February 8, 9 (20, 21, 22 and 29, 30 of December) there are still tickets left. all stations; Days from February 2 to 7 (December 23 - 28) have few tickets left, mainly soft seats and extra seats.
After Tet, there are still tickets for all days, including: From February 10 - 13 and from February 18 onwards (January 1 - 4 and 9 onwards) there are tickets to all stations; From February 14-17 (5th - 8th), there are few tickets left, mainly soft seats and extra seats.
The railway industry advises people not to buy tickets through "black market" intermediaries who impersonate railway employees to avoid buying fake tickets, tickets with incorrect information, or scraped tickets. Edit ticket price, train travel date (not valid for train travel).
During Tet, passengers arrange to go to the station about 30 minutes before the train departs and board the correct train, with their car number and seat number to avoid missing the train. At the station entrance and train carriage doors, railway staff will organize the control of boarding passes and identification documents. Passengers whose personal information matches the information on their boarding pass will be allowed to enter the train station.
