The construction of platform and canopy at Gumilir Station in Central Java province, continues to be accelerated ahead of the upcoming Eid Al Fitr holiday season.
This project is part of the Cilacap - Maos Railway Line improvement project from the Directorate General of Railways - Ministry of Transportation, covering 3 work segments with a total budget of IDR 123 billion.

Kereta Api Indonesia Offers Opportunity for Naming Rights for Jabodebek LRT Station
Kereta Api Indonesia as the LRT Jabodebek (Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Bekasi) operator provides opportunities for companies to obtain Naming Rights for 18 strategic LRT Jabodebek stations in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok and Bekasi areas.
LRT Jabodebek Public Relations Manager, Mahendro Trang Bawono, emphasized that the Naming Rights program offers substantial collaboration opportunities for companies in increasing their brand awareness.
"As a provider of mass transportation services, KAI has a wide reach with 18 stations such as Dukuh Atas Station, Jati Mulya Station and Harjamukti Station which are the starting and ending stations; Halim Station and Cikoko Station as stations that are integrated with the Whoosh High Speed Train and KAI Commuter; and Cawang Station, which is a central station, will be very profitable for companies that want to increase their brand exposure," said Mahendro.
Through this Naming Rights program, cooperating company partners will get various benefits, including the display of their brand name which will be implemented in various media such as the Access by KAI application, the KAI website and placement on signage, wayfinding, route maps, announcements and other publications related to stations.
Since starting operations on August 2023, LRT Jabodebek has successfully transported more than 7 million passengers, making it an attractive option for potential business partners to establish productive and sustainable cooperation.
"We are very open to this Naming Rights program, because it is the use of assets to create income outside of passenger transportation and improve our overall service," added Mahendro.
The Naming Rights program is also part of efforts to optimize revenue through commercialization of company assets which have been carried out by KAI as the parent company, for example BNI City (Sudirman Baru) Station and Semarang Tawang Bank Jateng Station. It is hoped that this program can be a positive step for the growth and development of transportation services in the Jabodetabek area.

Rearrangement of Purwokerto Station, Central Java
The construction of a new Ramp to connects the lower area with the upper area of Purwokerto Station has been completed.
A new small plaza is now open, there are seating areas and also the Kebo Kuning Locomotive Monument; Of course, this monument will become a new landmark and favorite place to take pictures.
The car parking area has now become more organized, although the parking area that used to be in front of the ATM Gallery has been turned into a new small plaza, but there are other areas such as the north motorbike park which has now been converted into a car park and made the entire lower area into a car park, plus the upper area (east of the Al-Ikhlas Mosque) is also used as a car park. Meanwhile, the new parking lot exit gate has also been put into operation, it looks wider and more modern.
